Book Summary: As if spending hours waiting in the DMV wasn’t bad enough, I found myself detained in a back room when I flipped out on the guy who walked in off the street and cut in front of the line when it was my turn.
And who comes to bail me out? The smiling giant who was the source of my rage.
You’d think after I lost my shit on him, he’d give me a wide berth, but instead, he’s got it into his head that we’re together.
Like the guy is seriously unhinged, showing up at my house in the middle of the night, talking about our future children, and calling me Kitten.
In an attempt to get him to leave me alone, we strike a deal. I give him one date, and if I tell him to take a hike after that, he listens.
Too bad for him, this girl’s had enough of men controlling her life. The world I ran away from was a dangerous one, but Sasha Gusev's smile might be even more deadly.
Too bad for me, this goalie only has one goal: making me his. And no is not a word in his vocabulary.
Book Review:
OH BOY. I could NOT put this book down!! This book is for the breeder readers, because WOAH. From the get-go Jace is determine to put a baby in Maddison. Please note, when I say determine I mean DETERMINE. He has his mind set to keeping her (pregnant), and he's not letting her go. This is a short read at 270 pages, with intense scenes. I gave this book 5 stars because it was able to not only keep my attention, but when I wasn't reading it, I couldn't STOP thinking about picking it back up! This story is so well written, and I honestly was not expecting the twists and turns. I somewhat predicted about the Uncle, but I wasn't confident. If you are NOT into breeding tropes/kinks. This book isn't going to be for you.
Tropes/Kinks/Triggers:
BREEDING
NO Pregnancy (Ending Only Mentions)
He Falls First
Golden Retriever MMC
Black Cat FMC
Fisting
Book Highlights and Spoilers!
"A house full of kids was the dream. I just needed to find the right girl to have them with."
"I found her. That’s all I could focus on as I tracked the raven-haired beauty being escorted across the open room into an office with a closed door. Breathing fire, flushed and losing her shit over something so trivial that I couldn’t help but laugh, was the girl I’d been waiting for."

"And God bless that surly man because he’d put me on a collision course with the girl I fully intended to spend the rest of my life with. She was perfect."
“Just think of how much fun we’ll have sharing our unique meet-cute story with our kids someday.” Meet-cute? Kids? What the fuck was he talking about?"
"And you belong in a straitjacket."

"I couldn’t wait to see Gemma pregnant with our little gosling someday."
My panties were absolutely ruined.
“Sasha, I’m not on birth control,” she protested. That unlocked something primal, deep within me. Visions of Gemma, belly swollen, carrying our child had me wanting to mark her, to claim her for all time."
“You know what’s not good for the baby? Having a father who’s an asshole. Apologize. Now!”
“This is what you wanted, wasn’t it? To be my little fuck doll instead of my girlfriend, right?”
She shoved at my chest, crawling off my lap. “Can’t wait to write all about this romantic marriage proposal in my diary later tonight.” Sarcasm dripped from every word.
“Is that legal?” My dazed question could barely be heard over the roar of the crowd, and I wondered if I might suffer permanent hearing damage as a result. Beer-Spilling Billy shouted back, “Hell yeah, it is! Your boy just scored a goalie goal! Don’t see that every day!”
“What Sasha wants, Sasha gets. Story of my fucking life,”
“Baby, I’d have married you the day I met you. You’re the one.”
She threw her arms up in the air. “Fuck it. Let’s get married. Why the hell not?” “That’s my girl,” I praised.
“You’re pregnant.”
